east coast events

any events planned on the LOWER east coast for 2009? i saw there were a few last year in PA and was wondering if there were any shooters a little more south than that

There are actually several of us in the Piedmont-Triad area. Just haven't formalized any organized meetings.

How about an event in the Mid-south area in North Mississpppi just south of Memphis Tn.

i wonder how many of us are in the south-east area... roger-up if you are! we could get a count and see about getting something going down here if enough people are interested. We do have the NSA starting again and i would hope there is enough shooters in the area to start a chapter or post. How 'bout it Chief AJ, thats the plan for the NSA right? it would be a lot of fun to get together with other shooters and hold events closer to home

All You shooters fron N.C. and surrounding states are invited to the East Coast Tournament in Alverton Pa.Maybe You can get a car pool up and convoy up here and You will have a chance to be the East Coast Champion and have a lot of fun.Jaybird

Google mapped it and from Greensboro-area, Alverton Pa. is 6 1/2 hrs. not too bad. i know i would like to go. when is the ECT?
it still would be nice to get something going down here though. anyone in the south-east interested? it doesnt have to be tournaments all the time but maybe to just get together to shoot and fellowship with people who enjoy the same hobby.

The E.C.T. is May 16 and 17th if You get a tournament going down there try not to have it on other tournament dates the Nationals is held at the end of June and I"m sure some of use will come down there.Jaybird

I live in Princeton, WV i'm about 2 to 2.5 hours from Winston Salem NC and about 3 to 3.5 to Raliegh NC. I'm interested in getting something together.:)

Ok. we should all make sure to utilize the calender on this forum so there will be no scheduling conflicts. the nice thing about the south is we have pretty long summers so our schedule is a little more flexible:cool:

i am gathering a list of names as to who wants to participate in a more local southeast event(s); please give a yes and where you live and i will add you to the list and try to find a good venue for an event. so let me know who you are and where you are and we can get this rolling in time for spring:D
