about 15 cm overal (5,9 inch)
it fits optimal in my big hands and on the hole you can fix a leather loop

Perhaps I'm missing something but it looks like it does the same thing as your fingers :confused:

yes it do the same thing but better, you cant twist anymore the pouch @ releasing.... and so you don't hit anymore the prong of small slings for example
but really , i like the feeling of the leather pouch more than the plastic grip...
